Retrospect Coffee Bar
Retrospect Coffee Bar is a point of interest in Midtown, Houston, Texas, located at 3709 La Branch St, Houston, TX 77004, Houston, TX, rated 4.6/5 from 993 Google reviews.
Retrospect Coffee Bar is a beloved Midtown Houston café housed in a beautifully restored 1921 Gulf Oil filling station — one of Houston's first — that sat idle for 40+ years before reopening in May 2017. The open-air, dog-friendly space draws coffee lovers, remote workers, and weekend crowds with its locally roasted espresso drinks, signature savory and sweet crepes named after Texas legends, craft beer, and wine. The sprawling back patio features communal benches, hand-built water fountains, shaded seating with fans, and cornhole sets, making it equally suited for a quiet morning cortado or a laid-back evening with friends.
