Hefley's
Hefley's is a point of interest in Midtown, Houston, Texas, located at 138 W Gray St, Houston, Houston, TX.
Hefley's was a Hill Country-themed bar and casual eatery occupying the former Luling Bar-B-Q space at 138 W. Gray in Houston's Fourth Ward/Midtown. The two-level roadhouse featured worn wood paneling, neon beer signs, and flat-screen TVs downstairs, plus an upstairs patio with a striking Houston skyline view that made it a neighborhood standout. The bar leaned hard into Texas identity — extensive Texas beer taps, Deep Eddy cocktails, and a celebrated Shiner Burger — and attracted a laid-back crowd with generous happy-hour programming including all-day Wednesday deals. Note: Hefley's is reported permanently closed as of late 2024.
