Midtown is surprisingly the most freeway accessible area in houston. Heading northbound on I59 if you ever wondered why the left two lanes are always empty is because it is a straight away exit into the midtown neighborhood. Beginning from midtown's most south west corner of midtown at the intersection of hwy 288 interstate 59 and elgin. Next is another park on elgin. This smaller neighborhood corner park is a perfect bark park and reflective space called elizabeth glover park. Keep going down Elgin and make a right on main street unit you his Midtowns , the namesake park MIDTOWN park with modern art and rec areas. As you continue closer to downtown you will run into Bagby park with the Iconic MIDTOWN sign and tacos and tequila restaurant.
